Few positions are as demanding as a manager’s. In certain situations, access to a person who can act as a sounding board and/or mentor can be a form of ”life insurance” – provided that you have chosen someone with wisdom, wide experience and expertise.

Advice and support for you in your role as manager are effective ”tools”, intended as an integral component in developing the operation, implementing targets and strategies, and handling the challenging management situations you face each day.

Having access to an impartial outsider, with whom to discuss both concrete situations and general strategy, is an excellent way for managers to arrange their thoughts before they make a final choice and reach a decision.

Fundamentally, it is all about meeting your needs as a manager in your daily work, and helping you to find the ”keys” to the challenges, problems and opportunities you must deal with.
